Rock Music

Dan Sonenberg has been making rock music since not too many years after he was born. He bought his first 4-track recorder, a Fostex X-15, at the age of 14. A few years later, he pooled the money he earned delivering Chinese food for Szechuan Cuisine in Great Neck, NY, and bought a Tascam 38 reel to reel tape recorder. Then... art music arrived in his life.

But in the last several years he has been very busy returning to the world of rock recording, releasing several collections of songs, two with his band Lovers of Fiction, a full-length solo effort, 2020’s two-song “single,” “Working for the Man” (backed with “Don’t Play”), 2021’s 5-song EP Mint Explosion, 2022’s full-length album Tiny Malone.
Just released in 2024, a new single: “Surround.”
Check back on April 5, 2024 for the next new single: “That’s Me.”
